Overview
In order to solve the health problems that human beings are facing today, our research focuses on the development of novel drugs against several important infectious diseases, genetic diseases, and cancers.
Our major research projects include:

Development of antiviral drugs targeting the nucleocapsid protein against emerging viruses.

Development of anticancer drugs targeting DNA or RNA.

Development of diagnostic tools for genetic diseases associated with unusual DNA structures.
May 2021- Our JACS paper, 'Structural basis for targeting T:T mismatch with triaminotriazine-acridine conjugate induces a U-shaped head-to-head four-way junction in CTG repeat DNA' is featured in the annual report of NSRRC 2020.
April 2021- Congratulations Prof. Hou for wining MOST Outstanding Research Award 2020
November 2020- Congratulations Roshan for the Award of Recognition in the Oral Presentation Competition at the 26th NSRRC User's Meeting and Workshop.
