Biography

Ming-Hon Hou received his Ph.D. in Biochemical Sciences from National Taiwan University. He did his postdoctoral research at the Academia Sinica and continued his research in drug design and biophysics at the National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan. He is a Distinguished Professor at the Institute of Genomics and Bioinformatics, National Chung Hsing University, and jointly appointed as Adjunct Faculty of Molecular and Biological Agricultural Sciences program of the International Graduate Program at Academia Sinica, Taiwan. His research interests cover a wide range of structural biology and drug development topics, including protein structure, unusual DNA structures, DNA–drug and protein-drug interactions.​
